Another obvious new fashion of this time period was the new hairstyles which were usually short. For example the most popular one was the "bob". This was made popular by actress Louis Brooks. The media was then filled with jokes, stories, cartoons, newspaper clips, and short movies about the bobbed hair. Women all over the world coppied this new look, turning it into a worldwide fashion. Cloche Hats were the most popular hats of the time period also. Women's hair was daring during the 1920s just like their changing role politically, economically, and in society.
